Our Mission

Thailand has hundreds of night markets, weekend markets, and walking streets, but information about them is scattered across outdated blog posts, tourist traps masquerading as guides, and word of mouth. Taladth exists to put accurate, up-to-date, honest information about these markets in one place — hours, real locations, crowd levels, and what each market actually offers — for travelers and locals alike.

How We Build the Directory

Core market information (hours, locations, categories, vendor details) is researched and entered directly, not scraped. Some data on the site is crowd-sourced from real visitors — star ratings, written reviews and photos, and live crowd-level reports — and is clearly presented as visitor-submitted rather than editorial fact.

Our "Tourist Favorite" / "Local Favorite" / "Mixed Crowd" badges are the result of dedicated research into each market's actual visitor composition, not a guess — and we deliberately leave a market unlabeled rather than assign a badge we can't back up.

User-submitted photos are visible immediately, and any visitor can report one — a report hides it right away pending our review. We'd rather move fast on content and catch problems quickly than gate everything behind manual approval.
