Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 22, 2026
This policy explains what data Taladth ("we", "us"), a KinQR product, collects from visitors to taladth.com, why, and how it's handled. This is a plain-language summary of our actual practices, written to be genuinely accurate rather than boilerplate — but it is not a substitute for legal advice, and we'd recommend independent legal review before relying on it for any formal compliance purpose.
What We Collect
Anonymous identity. When you rate a market, write a review, report a crowd level, check in, or upload a photo, we create an anonymous account for you behind the scenes (via Supabase Authentication's anonymous sign-in) — no email, phone number, or password is required or collected. This anonymous ID is what ties your contributions together (e.g. so you can edit your own review later), not your identity.
Content you submit. Star ratings, written reviews (including whatever display name you choose to type — please don't use your real name if you'd rather not), photos attached to reviews, crowd-level reports, market check-ins ("Passport" stamps), and community-submitted events. All of this is designed to be public — reviews, photos, and your passport (if you choose to share its link) are visible to other visitors.
Vendor recommendations. If you recommend a vendor, we collect whatever contact details you choose to provide (name, phone, email or LINE ID) so we can follow up — this is sent to us directly and is not displayed publicly.
Location. If you use "Find Markets Near Me" or the "Nearest First" sort, your browser asks for your location directly and the result is used only in your browser to sort markets by distance — it is never sent to or stored on our servers.
Saved spots & language preference. Stored only in your browser's local storage, never sent to us.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, which collect standard web-analytics data (pages visited, approximate location from IP address, device/browser type) via cookies and similar technologies.
Who Else Sees This Data
We use third-party infrastructure providers to run Taladth, each of whom processes data on our behalf under their own security practices: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (Analytics), and Resend (sends us an email when a vendor recommendation is submitted). We don't sell visitor data to anyone.
How Long We Keep It
Public content (reviews, ratings, photos, check-ins, crowd reports, events) is kept indefinitely so the directory stays useful over time, and is only removed manually — either by you updating your own review, or by us in response to a report or a deletion request (see below).
Your Choices
Because accounts are anonymous, there's no traditional "delete my account" button — we have no email or name tied to your anonymous ID unless you put one in a review. If you'd like content you submitted removed, contact us at michaeldelcau@gmail.com with enough detail (e.g. the market and approximate date) for us to find it — we'll do our best given the anonymous nature of the system.
Children
Taladth is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle data in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and its effective date.
